Galerie Patrick Seguin
Established in 1989 in Paris in a three hundred square meter space (gallery and offices designed by Ateliers Jean Nouvel in 2003), the gallery showcases the talent of French designers from the 1950s such as Jean Prouvé, Charlotte Perriand, Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret and Jean Royère. Today, these designers are recognized as major contributors to the history of design in the twentieth century.
Patrick Seguin’s impeccable eye for amazing artworks made it possible to present unseen exhibitions in international renowned galleries and his reputation based on seriousness and professionalism enabled him to collaborate with some of the most prestigious museums worldwide.
For its eighth participation in Design Miami/, Galerie Patrick Seguin is presenting furniture that Le Corbusier and Pierre Jeanneret created for the paramount urban-planning and architectural project for the city of Chandigarh in India. Highlights include conference tables, armchairs and sofa, floor lamps, day bed and wood and wicker lounge chairs.
