Caroline Van Hoek
Caroline van Hoek brings an overview of important and rare jewelry pieces by Gijs Bakker of the Netherlands from the1960s to now, with special thanks to Mrs. Helen Drutt for her achievements in the development of the work from Gijs Bakker in private collections and museums in the United States. Featured is silverwork by David Huycke, ceramics by Daniel Kruger and Willemijn de Greef and work by StudyOPortable, in addition to select jewelry.
The gallery opened in 2007 with a specialty in contemporary art jewelry, silver and related objects by international artists. The gallery exhibits the creative potential of the artist in its entirety through unique and specially-commissioned pieces made within the largest interpretation of the word “jewelry.”
